Phone Consultation
Dr. Lau will personally speak with you over the phone or Skype for the complimentary phone consultation. You can discuss your concerns and expectations, and he will explain the options available to achieve your expectations. He will also discuss the procedures and post-operative expectations and care. He will then answer any questions that you might have, including costs. An information package will be emailed to you, and you can always call back for further discussions.
Day of Surgery
Since Dr. Lau’s office is north of Seattle, patients from Vancouver can usually get to the office from the B.C./U.S. border within one-and-one-half to two hours. A typical labiaplasty day trip from Vancouver BC is as follows:
- Arrive at the office at 11:00 am
- Meet with Dr. Lau to confirm details and sign consent forms
- Lunch break – pick up post-op medication
- Return to office at 1:00 pm to begin procedure
- Return to Vancouver around 3:30 pm

Since a mild oral sedative is used, the patient needs a driver after the surgery. If a driver is not available, our staff will drive you to a hotel nearby to stay over-night, and you can drive back to Vancouver the next day.
